At Apleona, we are always on the lookout for talented and dynamic individuals to join our team. We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Business Partner to be based at our Head Office in Dublin 14

Shift Pattern Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Lead commercial review of contract performance to identify underperforming contracts.
  • Review contract performance with the operations team to identify measures to increase contract margins.
  • Implement a governance review process to track identified margin improvement measures.
  • Engage with the pricing team to optimise all pricing models.
  • Comparison of contract performance against tender pricing.
  • Review change control processes in place, identify gaps, and implement updated controls.
  • Track and ensure that contract change control updates are followed up on.
  • Oversee and follow up on all daily, weekly, and monthly profitability figures associated with designated client accounts.
  • Overseeing the monitoring and tracking of contract margin initiatives.
  • Provide management information for improved commercial decision making - that is accurate, timely, accessible, insightful, and robust.
  • Conducting monthly commercial performance meetings with operations teams.
  • Role interacts and coordinates activities with Commercial, Operations, Technical, Marketing, Sales, and Procurement.
  • Maintain detailed cost analysis reporting as required by the business to ensure accuracy in reported numbers.
  • Roll out best practice commercial finance practices across specific accounts, category management, and financial reporting.
  • Use AI to develop enhanced commercial reporting.
  • Preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial reports.


Qualifications and experience
  • Third Level Business/Accounting or Commerce Degree
  • Qualified Accountant or Equivalent with strong Commercial FMCG experience and Reporting background
  • Previous experience in commercial analytics. and strong influencing skills
  • Proven track record of results and deadline-oriented with Excel modelling experience
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills, with the ability to manage several priorities at once, will be required
  • Ability to understand, integrate, and streamline processes, and the ability to make informed decisions
  • Customer focus management style
  • Must be self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Flexibility with a high-level commitment to success.
  • Working knowledge of Navision an advantage.
