The Purpose of the Role
The Research Fellow, under the direction and guidance of the Principal Investigator and in collaboration with colleagues at the University of California, Berkeley, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, will lead and assist in conducting research activities related to deer population estimation and modeling in California, USA. This will include planning, organising, conducting, and communicating research studies within the overall scope of a research project.
Context
The recruited postdoctoral research fellow will join the Connor Lab in Zoology and the School of Natural Sciences. The position will involve close collaboration with researchers at the University of California, Berkeley and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to model California deer population dynamics to inform management.
Qualifications
A PhD in a field of discipline relevant to the area of investigation is required
