About the Service:
The MST Supervisor/Service Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management and quality assurance of the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) element of Extern's Bail Supervision Scheme in Limerick. The postholder leads and supports a team of MST Therapists and a part-time Administrator to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective and responsive service for young people and their families, in line with MST standards, contractual requirements and organisational policies. Working across a wide geographical area, the role requires strong operational oversight, effective resource management, multi-agency collaboration and a flexible approach to service delivery to ensure timely intervention, robust risk management and positive outcomes for service users.
The ideal candidate will be a leader who demonstrates a trauma-informed, non-judgmental and compassionate approach to practice, with the ability to effectively engage individuals who may be reluctant or mistrustful of services. They will show creativity and flexibility in their approach to engagement and problem-solving, adapting interventions to meet the complex and changing needs of service users.
