We are currently recruiting for a Spa Therapist in our Spa department 'ESPA at The Europe'. This award-winning spa and one of the most unique destination spa hotels that Killarney has to offer. One of the largest Spa's in Europe the ESPA, credibility and five-star service standards are world-renowned. We are committed to providing rejuvenation and Relaxation to our clients at Killarney Hotels Collection and employ highly skilled Therapist to provide this service. Our ESPA is nestled on the shores of Killarney's Lake District, capturing the beauty and serenity of this incredibly enchanting corner of Ireland.

Duties:

• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a service culture
• Performs body and esthetical treatments
• Understanding of the guests needs is an essential part of this role
• Ability to take a proactive approach to understanding guests needs and desires
• Responsible for achieving sales targets
• Ensure aftercare recommendations are made at the end of every treatment, linking with client concerns and offering to prepare products at reception for purchase
• Encourage clients to return to the Spa by recommending an ongoing treatment programme and cross selling the other business centres in the Spa
• Maintain a sound knowledge of all treatments, packages and any promotions
• Participate in demonstrations/ events as required
• Ensure that daily sales figures are accurately recorded
• Carry out in-depth consultation with each client prior to treatment, ensuring medical history and concerns are identified
• Execute all treatments to an exceptional standard expected at all times by Killarney Hotels Collection
• To part take in work based training in the ESPA products and maintain knowledge of beauty trends
• Maintain linen and product levels in the treatment rooms, ensuring trolleys are stocked, clean and organized as per the Spa standards
• Cleaning and tidying of treatment rooms may be required
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are performed as per Killarney Hotels Collection guidelines
• Report any guest complaints to the Spa Manager so that they can be handled promptly and effectively
• Perform all treatments in a professional, hygienic and safe manner for all clients, updating knowledge and training regularly
• Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as laid down by the Spa Manager

• Qualified with a ITEC or CIBTEC diploma or higher
• Trained experience in facials, massage, waxing, tinting, manicures & pedicures
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Impeccable personal presentation is a must
• Fluency of the English language, both verbal and written, is essential
