Description
As a Delivery Director, you will be accountable for driving the high client advocacy and satisfaction, evidenced through net promoter score, strong client relationships and profitable growth in one or more of GlobalLogic's global Telecommunications accounts. You will achieve this by meeting and exceeding client expectations, delivery excellence, high employee satisfaction and a consultative, AI-first delivery approach that harnesses the best of GlobalLogic and its partners' capabilities. The role is based in Ireland, ideally within an hour's commute to Athlone, where GlobalLogic's Delivery Centre is located. The role will require some international travel.
This is a 'two-in-a-box' leadership role, focused on developing GlobalLogic's Ireland and global delivery footprint, working in close partnering with offshore Engineering Leaders and teams, as well as the Industry Business Unit, to drive delivery excellence and strategic business innovation. We are looking for an experienced leader to deliver complex telecommunications solutions and services. You won't just be managing delivery timelines and budgets; you will be the architect of our delivery approach and culture that created AI-led business impact for our clients. Your mission will be to blend delivery excellence with thought leadership, fostering a high-energy environment where innovation isn't a buzzword - it's the standard.
Your mission will be to knit globally distributed delivery teams into a single, cohesive global delivery function for these accounts. To emphasise - you need to be not just a delivery lead but also an innovation driver and an outgoing, high energy, proactive and hands-on leader, who identifies how AI-enabled capabilities and next-gen networking to solve the client's most pressing business challenges.

Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Digital Engineering delivery, with a proven track record specifically within the Telecommunications vertical.
- Experience in driving efficiencies and innovation in virtualized RAN architectures, Self-Organizing Network (SON) features, and Network Management Systems (NMS) to ensure that solutions and services remain at the forefront of industry standards and evolving market demands.
- Experience leading either regional accounts of 100+ people or global accounts of 200+ people.
- Expert-level knowledge of global delivery, financial management, and Organizational Change Management (OCM).
- A demonstrable ability to introduce AI-enabled solutions and drive a modernization agenda within a legacy environment.
- The ability to pivot from a big picture strategic discussion with the C-suite, to a granular, hands-on deep dive into delivery risks, blockers, mitigations and enablers.
Job responsibilities
Strategic Delivery & Global Governance
- Take accountability for high-quality delivery in Ireland, in tandem with other delivery regions, proactively shaping decisions taken at a global level for the account/s you manage.
- Act as the key Delivery lead for the account, aligning Product Team Leads, Global Subject Matter Experts, and delivery centres to ensure a seamless "One GlobalLogic" experience.
- Establish robust frameworks for tracking KPIs/SLAs while proactively mitigating risks in complex, enterprise environments.
Relationship Management & Innovation
- Build deep, trusted relationships with senior Telco executives (CTO, CIO, Product Heads) to understand their long-term vision and build advocacy for GlobalLogic.
- Drive growth in the account/s through a consultative approach. Builds an in-depth understanding of the client's challenges and proactively propose ideas, PoCs and solutions, for eg., in AI adoption, automation, to deliver tangible clients outcomes.
- Use deep expertise in CSP organizations and Network/IT stacks to position GlobalLogic as a partner of choice for digital transformation.
Growth & Business Developmenta
- Work in lockstep with other Global Client stakeholders to identify and drive stronger delivery excellence and growth within the existing account/s.
- Lead the team, bringing together SMEs, Architects, and Executives to convert identified needs into signed business and delivery.
