Job Description:
Ocuco Group is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Sales to join the team at Ocuco Headquarters in Dublin. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Head of Sales will play a key leadership role in supporting global sales growth, scaling international sales operations, and executing the company's strategic growth objectives.
Working closely with the CRO, this role will lead and support an international sales team across multiple regions and market segments. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership capability, strategic sales expertise, and a proven track record of developing high-performing SaaS sales teams within a fast-paced technology environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, excellent people leadership skills, and the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels. They will be passionate about team development, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting sustainable revenue growth across international markets.
Global Team:
Ocuco operates as a global business, with teams across Europe and North America. Our Dublin HQ supports the group's commercial and technology functions, while our regional offices provide local market presence, customer support, and sales coverage across EMEA and North America. The Head of Sales will work closely with regional teams and leaders to support consistent execution, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a unified approach to serving Ocuco's international customer base.
Strategic Partnerships:
Ocuco's growth is strengthened through strategic partnerships within the global eyecare technology sector. Our partnership with Nextech, a provider of speciality-focused healthcare technology in the US, extends Ocuco's reach across the North American ophthalmology and optometry markets and supports joint go-to-market opportunities. The Head of Sales will play an important role in supporting strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring that channel and alliance activities are aligned with Ocuco's broader commercial strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop an international sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Partner closely with the CRO to support and execute Ocuco's global sales and revenue growth strategy
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to enter new markets, expand the customer base, and support sustainable revenue growth
- Support sales performance across multiple regions, ensuring consistent execution, pipeline development, and customer engagement
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders
- Support complex commercial negotiations and strategic enterprise opportunities where required
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform sales strategies
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance support to sales managers and team members to encourage ongoing development and growth
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Finance teams to align commercial activity with company objectives and customer needs
- Drive consistency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, CRM utilisation, and reporting standards across international teams
- Stay informed on industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to maintain competitive positioning and support innovation
- Represent Ocuco at industry events, customer meetings, and strategic partner engagements internationally
The minimum requirements:
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS sales environment, with a track record of supporting revenue growth and managing customer relationships
- 4+ years of experience leading and managing sales teams within the technology sector, ideally across multiple regions or international markets
- Exemplary people leadership skills with experience supporting, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and support new business opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Experience working with CRM platforms, sales analytics tools, and MS Office Suite
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required to support customers, partners, and regional teams
