PM Group currently has an excellent opportunity for an EHS Engineer – Site based with 3+ years’ relevant experience. This role offers the chance to apply your expertise within a highly regulated manufacturing environment while contributing to a growing and dynamic team.

Location: Kildare


Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain site EHS management systems in line with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments and exposure monitoring across physical, chemical and ergonomic hazards
  • Lead / support Industrial Hygiene programmes (e.g. noise, radiation, ventilation, PPE, ergonomics)
  • Support environmental programmes including wastewater, emissions, licensing compliance and system improvements
  • Coordinate and develop site safety programmes (e.g. working at height, permit systems, equipment safety)
  • Perform audits, inspections and compliance reviews against internal and regulatory standards
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Analyse EHS data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned EHS programmes and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications

  • NFQ Level 7+ degree in Environmental, Science, Engineering or related discipline (Level 8 preferred)
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience in a regulated manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of EHS management systems, compliance and risk assessment processes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical teams
  • Self-driven with strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving capability
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong commitment to driving a proactive EHS culture
