Healthcare Assistant (Home Care)

We are expanding our Enhanced Home Support Service and recruiting dedicated Home Health Care Assistants to deliver skilled, person-centred support. This is not routine home care - it's about enabling people with enhanced needs to live full lives at home, prevent hospital admissions, and maintain dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support bowel/bladder routines, catheter care, skin integrity, and mobility.
• Assist with transfers, hoists, and specialist equipment.
• Enable daily living routines, meaningful activities, and exercise programmes.
• Observe, document, and escalate changes in condition.
• Work within a structured, nurse-led service with clear care plans.

Requirements

• Experience as a Health Care Assistant or Home Support Worker (community or residential) or a health / social care background
• Calm, reliable, and comfortable with complex needs.
• Ability to follow structured care plans and perform delegated clinical tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in disability, neurological conditions, or complex care is an advantage (training provided).
