Are you our next Junior Data & Analytics Analyst?

Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model.

Grade: Assistant

Contract type: Perm

We are hiring for a Junior Data & Analytics Analyst to support day-to-day analytics and reporting, while gradually building skills in analytics improvement and AI-enabled ways of working. This role combines core business-as-usual (BAU) analytics with exposure to transformation and improvement initiatives over time.

This role includes a significant BAU component and is not a pure AI or data science role. It offers practical experience today with the opportunity to grow into more advanced analytics and AI-enabled work over time.

A snapshot of your peer group:
  • Early-career experience or strong academic grounding in data or analytics
  • Ideally, you will have 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Basic to intermediate experience with SQL, BI tools, or advanced Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:
  • Refreshing and distributing regular reports and dashboards
  • Running recurring data extracts and checks
  • Cross functional collaboration on projects with functional teams including IT and Operations
  • Supporting data hand-offs between systems and teams
  • Updating dashboards and standard reports
  • Supporting small analytics improvement initiatives
  • Using AI-assisted features under guidance and learning how to validate AI-generated outputs
  • Supporting Data ETL
  • Service desk triage
  • Internal website updates
  • Project support on ERP rollout
  • Maintaining user access groups
  • Answer questions from the business supported by data

Your team:

This role sits within the Finance Projects Team comprising six team members who are focused on delivering high impact reporting and analytics across the firm and supporting various system upgrades and new technology rollouts. The team is part of the wider KPMG finance department of approximately 50 colleagues.
