Hours of Work: 9am - 5pm, blended working

The Purpose of the Role
We're looking for a talented, driven researcher with strong software development and architecting skills. The role will report to the project PI and work as part of a multidisciplinary team of edtech innovators, researchers, technologists and user experience experts. The Research Fellow will design and implement a specific research programme/s in association with the Principal Investigator. Under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator, the Research Fellow's work will be performed in accordance with the university's research integrity policy and all other relevant policies. The Research Fellow will manage the responsibilities in terms of the research project as well as develop skills and competencies with respect to the role and their future career options. The training and development relevant to this position will be completed within the period of the contract.
Context
Learnovate is a research centre hosted by Trinity College Dublin, funded by Enterprise Ireland and supported by the IDA with 15 years of successful multi-million euro industry-led research. Learnovate provides thought leadership to the world's edtech, learning tech and learning & development community on the innovative use of education and learning technology for maximum organisation and learner success.
The "AccuRxy" project leverages evidence-based research to help pharmacists and pharmacy instructors to create prescription safety scenarios and evaluate learner performance on them.
The project is funded through Enterprise Ireland's Commercialisation Fund and will develop, test and refine a commercially viable solution. The intention is to create a startup company at the end of the project to bring the solution to market.
Qualifications
• PHD (or 4 years' relevant research experience) and significant industrial experience
