EO Warehouse Operator

Position Summary

This is a highly demanding role requiring an energetic individual to receive customer products into our Unprocessed Warehouses in Tullamore 1 and 3 and performing quantity and quality verification checks . The individual must be flexible and motivated and have the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.The warehouse operator must have excellent organizational and problem soving skills, effective communication skills and be detail orientated.

Computer literacy is required with a basic competency in all Microsoft Office Applications in particular excel and word. Adherence to all statutory and plant health and safety policies are mandatory.

Duties

  • Ensure all Customer products are prepared as outlined in the Customer Specific Procedures (CSP)
  • Performs quantity and quality verification checks on all incoming good
  • Alerts supervisor of any issue with any documentation, load or driver that may arise
  • Input Load Data into IFS or ODMS to generate Steris Batch Numbers
  • Makes up BI controls and places on to customer product loads as per specifications
  • Monitor stock levels, keep Kanban system replenished
  • Co-operates and assists in keeping warehouse to the highest GMP standard possible
  • Participate in daily Pit Meetings and 5S Audits
  • Works on allocated objectives set by Warehouse Team Leader
  • Support Process Improvement projects relevant to the EO process
  • To undertake any reasonable management request

Safety

  • Report, unsafe acts, near misses,incicents and accidents
  • Maintains and wears, as required, protective clothing and equipment.
  • Drive safety standards in goods and receiving operational work areas
  • To be an active member in all process and plant based risk assessments.
  • Participate in 5 S audits as required

Quality

  • Participate in regulatory inspections when required
  • Participate in Customer quality audits when required
  • Escalate all quality issues to the appropriate levels of management.
  • To ensure that products are processed and stored according to the appropriate standards and procedures.
  • To ensure that the production records are generated and maintained to GDP and requlatory standards
  • To participate in all training according to need.

Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • A total of 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment manufacturing, with minimum 5 years of Planning/Scheduling experience
  • An ability to build relationships with Team members and operations teams is key.
  • A structured, logical thinker
  • Able to learn fast and hit the ground running
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
