Trane Technologies in Swords, Dublin, Ireland, is hiring a Senior Statutory Accountant to join our RTR team. This role reports directly to the Record to Report Regional Leader and is responsible for overseeing statutory finance activities for Middle East entities. Partnering with local business finance teams, FSS, Tax, VAT, Treasury and Legal functions, Key duties include ensuring accurate and timely annual statutory filings, preparing month-end close journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and delivering financial analysis as required.

Job Description Summary:

This role is responsible for managing statutory finance activities forMiddle East entitiesand ensuring full compliance with local regulatory and corporate reporting requirements. The position involves close collaboration with local finance teams and cross-functional partners includingFSS, Tax, VAT, Treasury, and Legal.

The successful candidate will oversee the preparation offinancial statements, audit files, and statutory filings, supportmonthly close activities, performbalance sheet reconciliations, and contribute totax complianceandUS GAAP tax provision calculations. This role also plays an important part in drivingprocess improvements, automation initiatives, reporting excellence, and productivity actions, while ensuring strong internal controls and timely, accurate financial reporting.

What you will do:

- Preparation of financial statements and audit files, and management of statutory audits for various legal entities ensuring 100% on time statutory filings for relevant legal entities

- Monthly close processes, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of general ledgers, sub ledgers and accounts falling under these activities and ensuring compliance to TT Standards of Internal Control, FICAPs and reporting timetable

- Balance Sheet Reconciliations in accordance with TT Standards of Internal Control

- Support our tax department and liaise with external tax advisors to ensure accurate, timely filing of local tax returns and compliance with VAT, CIT and Transfer Pricing requirements.

- Quarterly US GAAP Tax provision calculation using Onesource, for relevant legal entities

- Lead and participate in MDI initiatives which would include automating routines, support reporting excellence and drive productivity actions.

- Address and rectify compliance issues within area of responsibility.

- Use performance metrics and KPI's

- Working effectively with other SBU teams and other functions

What you will bring:

Essential

- Qualified financial accountant with min. 5 years significant and relevant experience

- Experience of financial and tax systems, such as Oracle and OneSource

- Good knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards

- Strong team player and business partner

- Strong communication and influencing skills

- Problem solving aptitude with a desire to continuously improve processes

- Routinely handle high volume of data effectively, work to tight deadlines and able to prioritize with minimum supervision.

- Ability to take direction and work on own initiative

- Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially with Excel

- Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Desirable

- Proficiency in Oracle, R12

- Knowledge and the use of AI applications

- Specific Experience of Shared Services environments

- Any other European Language
