Location: Munster (ideally suited for someone living in the Cork/Cork city area)

Role type: Permanent


This is an ideal role for an individualwho may already be working in Sales/Merchandising or is interested to start their career in a sales/merchandising environment and is looking for the opportunity to move into an exciting fast paced industry working for an iconic Irish brand.


The Market Developer position in Tayto Snacks plays a vital role in supporting the full team across the region to achieve best in class activation of our brands.


This is an active position with the role holder travelling across the Connacht/Ulster region to provide cover for Business Development Representatives and Market Developers during periods of leave. This will suit someone who enjoys variety and a role where no two days are the same.The successful candidate will be responsible for activating our stores with point of sales material and ensuring that we have maximum displays and maximum distribution of our brands in stores. Some overnight travel may be required - the cost of which will be covered by Tayto Snacks.


This role will suit a candidate who is self-motivated and who enjoys variety and the opportunity to learn and develop in their career


Responsibilities

  • Activation of stores to a best-in-class standard.
  • Liaise closely with Business Development Rep and Market Developers within the region.
  • Proactively influence display placements and ensure our displays are impactful and always before our competitors in each and every store.
  • Communication to the wider team with regular testimonials of 'What Good Looks Like' in terms of outlet execution.
  • Required to achieve sales targets through calling on designated customers and selling/merchandising our full range of products.
  • Identify new areas of opportunity for developing business in store then follow through and implement development plans.


Experience

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills - effective influencer with professional manner.
  • Able to build effective customer relationships and proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Highly energetic, enthusiastic and creative.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • IT Literate.
  • Full, unrestricted driving license, ability to work outside 9-5 if required across the region.
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen.

Desired

  • Experience in FMCG
  • As driving is an essential requirement for this role - you must have a full clean Driving licence in order to be eligible to apply
