Pub Manager

We are seeking an experienced Pub Manager/Landlord-style operator to take stewardship of a charming, quintessentially Irish village pub, celebrated for its character, warmth, and strong connection to the local community.

This is a seven-day-a-week, beverage-focused operation, suited to a hospitality professional who values traditional pub culture while delivering consistently high standards of service, atmosphere, and guest experience.

The Role

• Full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the pub, seven days a week
• Acting as host, custodian, and ambassador of the pub's identity, standards, and atmosphere
• Leading, training, and motivating a service-focused team
• Managing a beverage-led offering, including quality, range, presentation, and service
• Hosting and overseeing private pub and bar events on an ad hoc basis
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety, stock control, and financial performance

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a pub manager, landlord, or senior hospitality operator
• Strong background in beverage-led pubs or bars, with an emphasis on quality and consistency
• Demonstrated experience running private, or premium pub and bar events
• A natural host with warmth, presence, and strong interpersonal skills
• Commercially astute, operationally disciplined, and detail-oriented
• Passionate about Irish hospitality and the traditions of the village pub
• A visible and positive presence in the community, someone who values being a good neighbour
