Assistant Lecturer in Sustainable Tourism & Event Management (Panel)
The Assistant Lecturer will join the Department of Marketing, Tourism & Sport at ATU Sligo, and will contribute to teaching across the department and wider Business Faculty. The Assistant Lecturer will have the capacity to teach a range of modules in the broad area of tourism & event management and in other business areas as required by the Head of Department. They will employ innovative and engaging techniques to deliver teaching and play an active role in programme development and quality assurance of programmes. The Assistant Lecturer will contribute towards the university's mission of enriching our region by delivering academic and research excellence, working collaboratively with regional, national and international partners. In addition to actively engaging in appropriate research and scholarly activity, the role involves participation in promotional and outreach activities, and liaison with sports organisations, professional bodies and stakeholders, to externally promote the programmes and the wider ATU faculty.
