Facilities Manager
The University seeks applications from candidates for the post of Facilities manager to join the Buildings and Estates team. The appointee will have responsibility for Sustainability, Buildings and Buildings related Operations on the Sligo campuses and will also have responsibility for some university wide initiatives and activities contributing to university wide strategies. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, proactive individual, with substantive experience in Building and Estate management to make a significant contribution to the University's plans. This position is based in Sligo, and it is envisaged that the post holder will provide services across the two Sligo campuses, including travel between campuses to carry out duties. The post holder may also from time to time carry out duties in any of the University's campuses, as required. The post-holder will liaise with and work collaboratively with university-wide Buildings and Estates teams and participate in cross-University working groups and initiatives.
