Job Description Role: Tool Install Manager Location: Leixlip, Co Kildare Position Summary: The Tool install site manager will be directly responsible for the management, control, monitoring and delivery of the Tool install project to meet the Clients program. The Tool Install Manager will manage Arcadis PIT resources, with Arcadis Project Managers reporting directly to the Tool Install Manager. Each of the Construction Coordinators in the PITs will report to the Project Managers, but ultimate responsibility to deliver the Arcadis Tool Install scope work will rest with the Tool Install Manager. The Tool Install Manager will report to the Arcadis Site Lead. The Tool Install Manager shall work with and integrate with all other Arcadis department managers on site, trades, AE, and FCS to deliver the project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities shall include but not limited to: Onsite manager of all activities related to the Arcadis Tool Install contract. Role model Safety and Clients' Incident and Injury Free philosophies. Actively participates in development and implementation of safety road map for project. Receive and disseminate all formal communications from client to Tool Install team on site. Ensure all Arcadis PIT resources comply with contract / agreed scope of work. Drives meeting all trades construction milestone dates. Drives corrective actions in case of any performance issues for any Arcadis Project Manager or Construction Coordinator. Communicates and escalates issues that can't be resolved internally to Arcadis Site Lead. Generates PIT resources headcount forecast, based on client published schedules and scope of work. Ensures staffing levels are sufficient to meet agreed upon man loader and effectively manages changes to the staffing plans. Engages with all PITs to ensure that the client housekeeping & protocol policies are managed to the highest standard (Trades, Vendors, PIT teams, etc) Engages with all PITs use all tools of the Last Planner System. Ensure that Constraints are managed from cradle to grave & all schedule updates are current & valid. Ensure all PIT stakeholders use Weekly Work Plans to plan tasks, and that the WWPs are updated daily to capture how the PIT is adhering to plan. Engages with all PITs to capture & eliminate/minimise any ESO punches, trade quality punches - encouraging a right first-time policy. Expected to bridge base-build and process tool installation phases. Aligns strongly with Arcadis organisational emphasis on safety governance Act as a professional representative of the organisation at all times, maintaining appropriate standards of presentation, conduct, and communication in line with client expectations. Areas of concern with project resources or discipline demands shall be referred to the department manager. Quality: Implement Arcadis SOP's, Work Instructions and Guidelines on projects Implement Arcadis systems and tools on projects Ensure that checking of deliverables and work packages are completed as per SOP's and WI's Undertake discipline and project reviews as required Close out of corrective actions identified in quality audits Training and Development: Ensure team are trained in Client specific Procedures and Guidelines where identified on the project. Support discipline manager in identifying gaps and training needs. Ensure Team are participating in CPD and recording all relevant CPD hours as required Join relevant technical/professional organisations and work to achieve Chartership Status. Continuous Improvements: Actively participate in Project Lessons learnt Assist in the development and improvement of group/discipline procedures, templates, standards and knowledge management. Assist in the development and implementation of tools to enhance efficiency Provide feedback to the Site Lead on recommendations on areas of development. Promote Continuous Improvement Initiatives on site including Lean Certifications Branding: Ensure awareness and Compliance with all relevant Arcadis Branding requirements HR: Compliance with all relevant HR procedures and standards Education & experience: Proven experience managing full lifecycle of tool installation (design procurement install commissioning handover. Accountable for delivering scope to schedule, cost, and quality targets. Must coordinate multiple concurrent installation zones/phases. Internally aligned with responsibility for management, control, monitoring and delivery of tool install project" 8+ years semiconductor or mission-critical construction Strong understanding of: Electrical, process mechanical, gases, chemicals, UPW, HVAC systems, Tool utility connections and requirements Ability to interface with OEMs and understand tool specifications Oversight of MEP installation works supporting tool hook-up: Power distribution, exhaust, process piping, specialty gases Experience coordinating subcontractors and installation crews Development and management of: Installation sequences Pull plans / Last Planner coordination Detailed install schedules and milestones Chairing and leading schedule review meetings Direct management of: Tool vendors and Field Service Engineers (FSEs) General contractor, AE teams, client stakeholders Strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams Ownership of safety culture in high-risk installation environments: Rigging, lifting, chemicals, gases Ensuring compliance with Arcadis, site, regulatory, and client standards Leading incident prevention and corrective actions Ensuring: Installation meets specifications and standards Inspection, testing, and commissioning readiness Supporting first article inspections, acceptance, and turnover Leading multidisciplinary teams: Project Managers, Construction Coordinators, Engineers. Driving performance, accountability, and delivery culture Managing reporting structures and mentoring staff Ability to: Review design packages (BIM / 3D models / layouts) Provide constructability and value engineering input Ensure designs align with installation sequencing and constraints Strong understanding of: Cost tracking, forecasting, and budget control KPI monitoring and reporting Supporting business development and client proposals
