Job Title: Consulting Solutions Architect

This role is designed for a high-impact technical strategist who thrives on building technical relationships within a select group of enterprise clients. As a Consulting Solutions Architect, you will be the architectural North Star for your customers, working in lockstep with an Account Director to transform their business through technology.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Customer Advisory
  • Act as the Trusted Advisor for a small portfolio of high-value "Focus Accounts," understanding their business goals as intimately as their technical stack.
  • Develop multi-year Technology Roadmaps that align Managed Services (continuity) with Professional Services (transformation).
  • Support your Account director in running strategic quarterly business reviews to present innovation opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist the Account Director in the design and delivery of various customer briefing sessions


2. Solution Architecture & Design
  • Lead the discovery and design phases for complex, multi-vendor solutions spanning Cloud, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, EUC and Digital technologies.
  • Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring all proposed solutions are commercially viable and operationally supportable.
  • Own the creation of high-quality Statements of Work (SoW), High-Level Designs (HLD), and technical proposals for all core service offerings.
  • Working closely with Presales SME Solution Architects to create Statements of Work (SoW), High-Level Designs (HLD), and technical proposals for all non-core service offerings.


3. Commercial Collaboration
  • Partner with the Account Director to identify white-space opportunities and drive additional lines of business within your chosen accounts.
  • Work with the Account Director to build robust Business Cases and ROI models to help customers justify large-scale technology investments.
  • Work with the Account Director, Sales Specialists and Presales SMEs to both influence, shape and respond to RFI's and RFP's.
  • Work with Managed services to size, scope and price Managed services proposals within your existing customer base


4. Mentorship & Thought Leadership
  • Provide guidance and peer reviews for junior staff members within the team.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, acting as a feedback loop between our customers and our internal Product/Service Development teams.


Required Experience & Skills

Experience - 10+ years in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting role within an MSP/VAR environment with preferable experience in driving demand within an IT services organisation.

Technical Breadth - Proven expertise across Public/Hybrid Cloud, Modern Networking, Cybersecurity frameworks, and Managed Service operations.

Strategic Mindset - Ability to pivot from "fixing a problem" to "enabling a business outcome."

Communication - Exceptional presentation skills; C-level gravitas.

This is a challenging role that will stretch an individual that will constantly learning and adapting to changes in the technology landscape. This role is proactive in nature, helping your Account Director drive demand, making this a challenging but exciting role for many individuals.
