Solutions Architect Job Specification:

This role is a mid to senior level technical position for an individual with 5-10 years experience. You will be the primary bridge between complex business challenges and innovative technology solutions. You will engage various SME's within the business to design various IT solutions across the broad Presidio ecosystem to perfectly align with a customers requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design, discovery & differentiation
  • Attend discovery sessions alongside to capture detailed customer requirements and current-state documentation.
  • Work closely with Solutions Consultants and Presales SMEs to create high-quality Statements of Work (SoW), High-Level Designs (HLD), and technical proposals for all core service offerings.
  • Support your Account Manager in delivering solution presentations on behalf of Ergo that may range from Managed services, to a varied array of technology solutions, attempting to differentiate Presidio to it's competitors.
  • Work with Managed services team to scope, size and propose various managed services solutions.

2. Commercial Collaboration
  • Work with the Account Manager, Sales Specialists and Presales SMEs to both influence, shape and respond to RFI's and RFP's.
  • Work with Managed services to size, scope and price Managed services proposals within your existing customer base to be both compelling and cost-effective.


3. Continuous Learning & Internal Support
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge across our core vendor portfolio (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Dell, Broadcom, Cisco, etc).
  • Spending time with your Consulting solutions architect sponsor to learn and develop will be key to your long-term career growth.


Required Experience & Skills

Experience - 5 years+ in a technical role, Presales, junior consultant, or technical analyst within an MSP are all valid experience indicators.

Technical Knowledge - Solid foundational understanding of Cloud, infrastructure and End user computing technology, with knowledge in Digital a plus.

Documentation - Strong ability to write clear, concise technical descriptions with a strong grasp of the English language.

Communication - Confident presenting to small groups; able to explain "how it works" to technical contacts at the customer site.

Certifications - Advantageous to hold associate-level certs like AZ-900/AZ-500, CCNA, or CompTIA A+, Security+ or Network+.
