Senior Physiotherapist in Complex Pain, 0.3 WTE
Purpose of the Rolel
The Complex Pain team in CHI provides a national pain service to the children of Ireland. In addition, for the next three years it will also provide a pain service to a cohort of children in Northern Ireland. The post holder will work closely with the Complex Pain MDT, providing physiotherapy to children with chronic pain.
The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in line with organisational requirements and the development of the new children's hospital and associated services.
Essential Criteria:
• Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU - candidates must state CORU registration number on application or CORU application number and date of submission if still awaiting registration number
Or
• Hold a qualification in Physiotherapy (equivalent those listed above) awarded outside of the Republic of Ireland which has been recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU - candidates must state CORU registration number on application or CORU application number and date of submission if still awaiting registration number.
And
• All candidates must have 3 years full time (or equivalent) years post qualification clinical experience
• All candidates must have significant Paediatric Physiotherapy experience
• All candidates must have at least 2 years of Paediatric Musculoskeletal experience
• Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to CPD in Paediatric Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
