Réalta Technologies are seeking a DeltaV Automation Engineer to support the configuration, testing, commissioning, and startup of a new DeltaV DCS as part of a migration project at a Chemical API manufacturing facility.
This position operates on a 4 Days On / 4 Days Off shift pattern and includes a 33% shift allowance. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering automation activities throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with engineering, validation, and operations teams in a GMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure DeltaV control modules, equipment modules, and batch phase logic.
- Support development of control strategies in line with ISA-88 standards.
- Execute simulation testing, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Assist with migration of existing Foxboro control strategies to DeltaV.
- Support system integration activities with plant equipment and third-party systems.
- Participate in generation and execution of test documentation (IQ/OQ).
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration or logic issues during testing phases.
- Work closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical support during commissioning, startup, and operational handover activities.
- Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with GMP requirements, site procedures, and project standards.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in Automation Engineering within GMP manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience configuring Emerson DeltaV control systems.
- Experience working on DCS implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.
- Familiarity with batch process control and ISA-88 principles.
- Exposure to commissioning and qualification activities (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work a 4 Days On / 4 Days Off shift pattern, with a 33% shift allowance provided.
