Articulated Truck Driver (Artic Driver) New Pay Rates
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Articulated Truck Driver to join our Transport Team. Barry Group are offering attractive new pay rates.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely, safe, and accurate deliveries to our customer base.
General Duties Responsibilities:
Carry out deliveries to retail and wholesale customers in line with scheduled routes
Safely operate articulated vehicles in compliance with road traffic laws and company policies
Conduct daily vehicle checks (pre and post trip inspections) and report any defects
Load and unload goods where required, ensuring correct handling and securing of loads
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, with correct paperwork and PODs (Proof of Delivery)
Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery points
Adhere to EU driver hours, tachograph regulations, and Working Time Directive requirements
Work closely with the transport office to manage any delivery issues or delays
Follow all health safety procedures, including safe use of tail lifts and manual handling practices
Requirements
Full Clean CE (Artic) Driving Licence
Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery environment (preferred)
Good knowledge of Irish road networks
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight schedules
Good communication and customer service skills
Flexible approach to working hours (early starts / variable shifts as required)
